Hartenbos, 29th September – Trio Events’ much-anticipated KyknetBuiteExpo witnessed a game-changer this year. LuxLander unveiled its revolutionary 4.2m Campor POD tie-down on an NPS300 Isuzu SWA 4×4 Truck. The response was electric, as attendees were spellbound by the myriad of features and the versatility the product promises.
The Campor POD’s dual-purpose utility allows for the Truck to be registered under Commercial Use while offering the luxury of using the Campor POD for Private Holiday Use. After holidaying, the POD can seamlessly transition into an additional accommodation unit – perfect for an AIR BNB setup or simply as a unique guesthouse experience.
Among the standout features that had expo-goers talking was the in-built washing machine, which is a rare find in mobile accommodation setups. But it didn’t stop there. The bathroom layout was a major drawcard, boasting a separate shower and toilet, providing that extra touch of luxury and convenience.
A significant highlight was the electric drop-down bed. Users loved the efficiency of the design and how it effectively created additional space within the POD. Further enhancements like a fridge/freezer paired with a full body mirror, an extractor fan above the gas hob, and more, made the Campor POD not just a mobile accommodation unit but a luxurious travel experience.

The idea of possessing two separate assets, the Truck and the POD, rather than a fixed built off-road motorhome, seemed to resonate with potential investors. They saw value, not just in the immediate utility but also in the long-term resale potential, avoiding the steeper depreciation commonly seen with fixed motorhomes.
